One woman is in custody following an attempted abduction at the Vienna Township Wal-Mart.
Genesee County Undersheriff Chris Swanson tells us the woman attempted to take a 2-year-old from a shopping cart in the parking lot in the Vienna Twp. Wal-Mart Friday morning.
Nearby A.C. Edgerton Elementary went into lockdown for a short time due to the incident.
Investigators believe alcohol may have played a role in this incident.
