For International Sandwich Sunday today, we are headed to India for the Ghughra Sandiwch. More specifically, the double cheese Gujarati style. This sandwich, like almost all Indian food, promises to be packed with flavor. And because it is street food, it’s also going to have a slight unhealthy aspect. Which, of course makes it more delicious. I know I could have probably bought the green chutney used but what can I say, I like to cook. Also, in the video I don’t say what kind of green chilis I am using. That’s because at the Indian grocery store they were simple called green chilis. If I had to guess, I would say they were Kashmiri green chilis since they weren’t terribly spicy. Not dull, just not super hot.
