Step 1: Shake lacquer well before each application.

Step 2: Hold the lacquer about 12 to 14 inches away from the brass item.

Step 3: Begin to spray the lacquer before you reach the item - making sure long, slow strokes are used to achieve an even coating.

Step 4: Once the item becomes tacky, repeat steps 1-3 until satisfied with how the item looks.
