Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us, that we may be called his sons.
God shows unrestrained, undeserved Love to Mankind and this makes it so easy for us to love him back.
1 John 4:18 reads, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” The ultimate punishment or fear is separation from God.
