We'll all be expecting lots of new VATSIM Pilots so you're welcome to come along and begin your flight by getting your departure clearance initially with Manchester Delivery. Please make sure you've got a valid route prior to requesting your clearance as we have a new controller helping us on delivery.

Once cleared and you've declared "Fully Ready" to the Delivery controller, you will then be passed to me on Manchester Ground for Pushback, Startup and Taxi clearance! I'll help you get to the hold point to the runway with taxi instructions - and if you get lost, no problem! Just call for "Progressive Taxi" and I will try to help you out.

Once at the runway holding points, I'll pass you to our Tower Controllers to handle your departure - and after takeoff they'll hand you over to Radar! If you're flying in - you can expect the same levels of service the other way around - and we would love a mix of arrivals and departures!

Side Note: I've not controlled since September so I expect to be quite rusty but I'll be trying my hardest! Our Tower and Approach controllers are very experienced and are fantastic controllers on the network!
