We have finally re-started our homestead construction project. One of our biggest challenges is the steep and varied terrain found on our East Texas land. In order to build our steel barndo we have to have a flat spot and a road that can support our 20K lb motor home. So We start off by doing some road building with a bulldozer.
If you are planning on doing some road building with a bulldozer it is a great idea to find someone who has been operating a bulldozer for a long period of time. We have been fortunate to find a person who has a lifetime of experience in road building with a bulldozer.
This is the first of several videos about moving dirt with heavy equipment on our beautiful east Texas forest property. Unfortunately we were not able to complete the road building with a bulldozer project as the supply of road topping is on the short side.
