---------------------------[TAGS IGNORE]-----------------------------
"I own the CD/DVD or bought the song online." SHOWS that you made purchase of the content and own all rights to upload it to YouTube.
"I'm not selling the video or making money from it." CLARIFIES that you are not trying to profit for what content you upload on YouTube, but to promote to public and the artist/company etc. itself.
"The video is my original content and I own all rights to it." CLARIFIES that you purely made the content you uploaded yourself.
"I have a license or written permission" CLARIFIES that you are an authority that is acknowledged by another authority to allow you to upload the content. (refer to PewDiePie, MrSuicideSheep, TastyNetwork etc.)
**I don't know what the last choice means, so probably DON'T CHOOSE IT unless you know what it is.**
"I give credit in the video" is the UTMOST IMPORTANCE if you were to upload a music or an episode of a show because you have stated that you own purely nothing of what content you upload and have acknowledged the authorities involved in the making of the content. To give credit, simply state:
•The following artist/company who produced the content.
•State that you own nothing of the content you uploaded, and tell them that you intend to promote it to the public. (see below)
•More chance of you not getting copyright if you give details of the content produced (e.g. album, release date, producer, label, etc.) and provide the website.
•OPTIONAL: If you promote it, why not, if available, provide the itunes link or something? I'm sure you can figure it out.
•And of course, say "All Rights Reserved © 2013" or copy the fair use provided at the bottom.
"Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
