A Candidate's Advice For FRCS Orthopaedic Exams | Orthopaedic Academy

- The speaker went on a course organized by the Orthopedic Academy and the FRCS Mentor Group prior to the exam.
- The FRCS Orthopaedic Exams will have no patients and will use iPad images with either pictures or videos.
- Surgical masks are provided and expected to be worn during the entirety of the exam.
- The examinee is expected to discuss the examination maneuvers and how they work, such as a Lachman test or Nelson's test.
- The examinee must presume and guess the way the scenario is going to work in order to maximize the amount of information they can get out within the five minutes.
