Beatrice Fihn is a Swedish lawyer and the Executive Director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). ICAN was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017, in recognition of its work ‘to draw attention to the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of any use of nuclear weapons’, which was accepted by Fihn and Hiroshima survivor Setsuko Thurlow.
