From our first video in fall of 2013, we used bubble wrap and leaves to winterize our banana plants.
In summer of 2014 we had issues with editing software to show how our plants came back but from a quick picture of comparison and a few funny out-takes it shows they came back very nicely!
This video is to show another method of winterizing by cutting the stem completely to the base of the plant and using cedar trimmings with light mulch on top to protect the root systems. Mulching methods work but this will hopefully keep the bananas from reaching the sky!
