My Cousin Rachel is vanaf 22 juni 2017 in de bioscoop te zien.

De thriller MY COUSIN RACHEL vertelt het duistere en romantische verhaal van een jonge Engelsman die wraak wil nemen op zijn mysterieuze en prachtige nicht, omdat hij haar ervan verdenkt zijn voogd te hebben vermoord. Maar het wordt ingewikkeld als hij begint te bezwijken voor haar verleidelijke charmes.

De film is gebaseerd op de roman van Daphne du Maurier. Roger Michell (‘Nothing Hill’, ‘Hyde Park on Hudson’, ‘A Weekend in Paris’) regisseert de film en is tevens verantwoordelijk voor het scenario. De cast bestaat onder andere uit Oscar®winnares Rachel Weisz (‘The Youth’, ‘The Constant Gardener’), Sam Claflin (‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’), Holliday Grainger (‘Cinderella), Iain Glen (‘Game of Thrones’) en toneelacteur Simon Russell Beale (‘Into the Woods’).
