A review of the nonfiction account of the 1910 Big Burn which destroyed 3 million acres of forest lands in Idaho and Montana. Egan's book is an indepth look at how the National Forests were created by Teddy Roosevelt and Gifford Pinchot, and the forest service men who were in those forests trying to save the trees from fire in 1910. Highly recommend this book and author!!
