Tortally awesome – a Galapagos tortoise egg hatched at the Phoenix Zoo on August 29 to parents Mopey and Mary, who are both in their 90s!

While we don’t know if the hatchling is male or female, and won’t for another 10+ years, Galapagos tortoises hatch knowing how to do all things tortoise – eat, sleep, walk, etc.
