The Government Series ES-335 has an incredible story as unique as the instrument itself! Utilizing rosewood recovered by Gibson from the US government after the much publicized seizure in August 2011, the Government Series ES-335 features all of the fantastic upgrades found in the 2016 Memphis line, including a Gunmetal Grey nitro finish, rolled black binding, a black corian nut, a specially embossed pick guard, and a set of high output Dirty Fingers humbucker pickups. Each Government Series 335 includes a wonderful "Currency Green" hardshell case that's eye catching and appropriate. The original Government Series instruments were extremely limited and sold out almost instantly due to incredible demand. The ES-335 is already creating a similar buzz.
