SPARTAN RACE ROPE CLIMB
Beautiful people climbing the rope is not just for Spartan Race. It’s also a survival skill.
But here are some tips specific to being on the racecourse
I’m here with my man @i_dare_me_ssk and this rope climb is right after a water crossing
When this is the case, the ropes closest to the entrance of the corral are the most wet
I walked to the furthest rope, and that is generally the driest rope
On days that it’s wet, the most important part for me is getting my feet all the way up to my hands. This is why I program a lot of toes to bar and hanging corner raises. Once my feet are tied up. I walk my hands up the rope and repeat.
Remember, you cannot drop from the top you have to come down in a controlled fashion so after ringing the bell, I walk my hands back to my feet.
