For a few months before this daytrip, I was concerned about how we'd actually get to Tamgaly. The confusion between this site and Tamgaly Tas also worried me. The other 1 will be Kazakh, not 2. We met a local girl when we were in Khiva, and she helped us out, and sorted it all for us. Taken on Sunday 09/October/2016.
