The University of Michigan's Compulsive Lyres sing "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" (originally by Chicago) during the 2002 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Semi-Finals. The group won first place, advancing them to the finals in NYC - where they were eventually crowned the overall winner.

Jesse Nager was awarded Best Soloist for this song in both the semi-final and final stages.
