An ongoing nationwide strike by Resident Doctors for improved welfare has left federal government-owned hospitals deserted and many patients stranded in Kaduna state.
A strike by the Association of Resident Doctors demanding higher pay that started on Friday has left patients at the federal Tertiary hospitals to fend for themselves pending when the strike will be called off.
However, while doctors at the federal government hospitals complied with the strike action on Friday, normal activities went on at the state government-owned hospitals as the Doctors were seen at their duty posts attending to patients.
