Aspire Ryde - The redundant church has since been converted into an award-winning community hub, providing services throughout the week that now buzzes with activity.

Any profits from projects are put straight back into services to support the local community and maintain their fantastic building.

Everyone is encouraged to come down to Aspire Ryde and get involved.

Their team of volunteers are very much driven by what the community would like from them and projects are evolved around people and their needs, so if you have an idea, come and talk to one of their dedicated team!

Their volunteers are friendly, supportive and enthusiastic about the work they do. Aspire hosts lots of groups so there’s sure to be a like-minded group of people around for you to join.

Our webcam, which was installed at the tail of the end of Summer 2022, overlooks The Solent, with a view of the historic Ryde Pier, across to the UK Mainland including Portsmouth and Southsea.

You will see cruise liners pass along with routine cross-Solent ferry traffic travelling all year round.
