The Yellow Jackets defeated the Panthers 67-47 in Atlanta. Georgia Tech held Georgia State to just 25.8% shooting and forced 20 turnovers. Dani Carnegie was the Yellow Jackets' leading scorer with 14 points, to go with three assists, two rebounds, and two steals. Kara Dunn had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Tonie Morgan added eight points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks.
