Inspired by some of the videos on the silent switch mod. I went ahead and gave it a shot over the weekend.
It took a lot of effort to remove the OEM switches. But after an hour of struggling I found a way to desolder them without damaging the PCB. Making things worse, the OEM switches have three pins.
With some patience, even you shall succeed.
The silent switches have two pins and need to be mounted on the top two holes. The orientation doesn't matter.
