Alvin's 1.5JZ swapped 1999 Toyota Altezza, Function over Form.
Toyota Altezza also known as Lexus IS 200 (GXE10) in US and European market was introduced as an entry-level sport model. This compact vehicle was produced using a shortened, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive midsize platform and it was originally powered by a 2.0L 1G-FE inline six designed by Toyota. As you probably guessed, the 1.5JZ was never produced by Toyota. But someone with a trained eye, and ear for that matter, will recognize that there's something fishy about this Toyota Altezza because the exhaust note on this car is something similar to mostly someone who owns a Toyota Supra or Soarer which is the 2JZ-GTE VVTi.
