FLAGS. Japanese 94th. Div. forced to march past, & salute the Union Jack, at their surrender at Sungei Patani.
FRANCE MILITARY. French troops arriving in Saigon. Gen. Leclerc arriving by plane to take over Military Government from British.
Indo-Chinese. (French) (Indo-China.) French troops arriving in Saigon. French population cheering. Gen. LeClerc arriving at Saigon by plane, to take over Military Government from the British.
JAPAN. MILITARY. The 94th. Div. surrenders at Sungei Patani, to Maj.Gen.Woods. 14 hundred Officers hand over their swords. Whole parade march past, & salute the Union Jack, in the pouring rain.
