Many of us at JMU know that greek life plays a huge role in university culture on and off campus, but because of the pandemic, a lot of greek life events have been put on hold because of precautions taken to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Because they are’t able to hold events, many sororities and fraternities are unable to raise money for their philanthropies, but our local chapter of delta gamma has decided that rather than sit and wait for the pandemic to pass, they will adapt their annual “Anchor Splash” event, usually hosted in the Godwin pool, into “Anchor Dash”. All of the money raised from the event will be going towards school for sight.
