Sky News host Rowan Dean says China is “controlling its culture” which it has done in the past with “pretty tragic results”.
“Clearly, from the new rules they’re bringing in to temper what goes on, what pop charts are allowed to have in them - they’re concerned about ‘sissy boys’.” Mr Dean told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“It’s clear from the directives they think this is corrupting their male youth.
“I have to explain to Xi that rock and roll doesn’t work that way."
