We arrive at Final Match of PKL 11, a clash steeped in the drama of last season’s epic finale. The defending champions, Puneri Paltan, take center stage once more, squaring off against Haryana Steelers, the very team they conquered to clinch the title just months ago. The air is electric here at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, as fans pour in with expectations of witnessing another unforgettable battle.
Puneri Paltan comes into this season with the aura of champions, guided by their leader, Aslam Inamdar. Their journey to the pinnacle of PKL 10 was nothing short of extraordinary. With a balanced squad that perfectly blends youth and experience, they have retained majority of the key names.
But tonight, all eyes will be on the one man they no longer have - Mohammadreza Shadlou Chiyaneh. The Iranian superstar, who terrorized raiders last season, now wears the blue of Haryana Steelers. Chiyaneh, with his remarkable tally of 99 tackle points in PKL 10, was the wall upon which many of Pune’s triumphs were built.
