A major security operation to flush out bandits behind the runaway insecurity in the Kerio valley belt, started today, in Loruk, Arabal, and parts of Baringo north, that are part of the areas gazetted as danger zones.
Rift Valley regional co-ordinator Wanyama Musiambu, who de-briefed the officers before they went out on operation 'Dumisha amani', warned that no one will be spared. residents in tiaty have already started fleeing fearing possible harassment by police officers.
