Camping Valkanela - Vrsar lies in a beautiful bay between Vrsar and Funtana, about 2km from city centre of Vrsar. It is an ideal place for family holidays, but also for the lovers of sports, recreation and fun. Camping lovers have awarded Camping Valkanela in selection Naj kamp Adria 2020 as best large campsite in Croatian Istria.
NEW - renovation of sanitary facilities No. 5, 8, 10 and 12 in 2022, new mobile homes by the sea and in the upper part of the campsite in 2023 and renovation of the reception.
Campsite Valkanela is offering camping on arranged camping pitches, rental of mobile homes and caravans of agency Gebetsroither.
Camping Valkanela is one of the largest Croatian camps with 56ha of surface and offering 1400 pitches, around 400 places for tents (camping part that is not divided into pitches). All pitches have access to electricity, pitches in zone by the sea have connection to water as well.
Some sanitary facilities in Valkanela have been renovated last years, new camping pitches with electricity, water and sewage arranged, new mobile homes added and promenade by the beach opened.
Campsite Valkanela has modern sanitary facilities that are accessible also for campers on wheelchairs and adjusted for kids. Additionally, dog showers were added. Other camps infrastructure is all encompassing: large shop, fish selling stand, beach bars, restaurant, clinic.
Beach in camp is 3km long and various - part is stoned, some parts are concrete, while in the middle you will find pebbled bay that is full of children during the day. It also has access for people on wheelchair. Part of the beach is reserved for dogs.
You will find aquapark on the water, while animation for children is organized on daily basis. There are many children's playgrounds, one also at the beach. Sports centre offers many sport activities: tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, mini golf, rental of boats, bikes, surfing, billiards, table football ...
