Our team designed this biopharma animation to create awareness of our client's mission to develop treatments for neurodegenerative diseases using small-molecule compounds.

While current treatments can alleviate symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and Huntington's disease, there is a critical need for FDA-approved disease-modifying therapies that target protein misfolding and aggregation to slow down, halt, or reverse the disease process.

Scientists at our client's company are actively working on this challenge. Using structure-based drug design, they have identified novel small molecule compounds that either prevent protein aggregation or promote autophagy.

Their most advanced compound, designed as a disease-modifying treatment for Parkinson's disease, entered Phase 1 clinical trials in 2015.

This compound represents just one example of their scientific expertise and dedication to developing treatments for these debilitating diseases
