Exploring why my car still takes so long to start. Car still cranks too long before start. I hook a fuel pressure tester kit to the car only to determine I have low fuel pressure and fast bleed down. Fuel pressure leak down happens rapidly. I have a few thoughts as to what could cause low fuel pressure and why it bleeds off to zero fuel pressure so fast. Is it a bad check valve in the fuel pump? A hole in the fuel line in the tank? Is it the fuel pressure regulator? Could an injector be leaking? I perform a few quick tests to determine the cause of low fuel pressure and rapid leak down of fuel pressure.
