Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes is gearing up to push out another reboot later this year featuring the machete welding Jason Voorhees. What's the point anymore? If we look at Platinum Dunes' history for previous horror reboots, I don't have much hope. (See Nightmare on Elm Street, The Hitcher, The Amityville Horror, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning)

I give my 2 cents on what I would do with the franchise if I had creative control...and it's quite different than most would expect. But I want to hear your ideas, what would you do if you were given the reigns for this upcoming movie?
