200 Australian Defence Force troops and eight aircraft have been deployed to help recovery efforts in the flood-stricken Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The ADF personnel will help rebuild and restore towns and communities that suffered in the aftermath of ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese toured the flood-ravaged area, announcing the incoming Commonwealth assistance alongside Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan.
