A rare moment - beaked whales breaching in the Azores. Beaked whales are very shy and elusive animals and are difficult to even get a glimpse of. During this tour with Futurismo Azores Whale Watching in the afternoon on August 25th 2013 we were lucky to witness this event - 3 beaked whales (2 adults and a juvenile) leaping out of the water. This video was filmed by our biologist Ida Eriksson.
