Homemade low carb keto Cheese scones low carb keto easy recipe (taste like the real thing)
you will need:
192g / 2 cups Almond flour
125g / 1.5 cups Grated cheddar cheese (i used pre grated and mixed 2 types)
2 Eggs
120ml 1/2 cup Double cream
28g / 2 Tbsp Butter diced (salted or unsalted)
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper ( add more for hint of spice)
1 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
lined baking tray
oven 190C / 170 fan / gas mark 5 -- 20 - 30 mins depending on oven
tips:
cheeses maybe swapped, flavours can be added or taken out like onion powder taken out and swapped for mustard etc.
Ensure butter is not to soft, and remember to rest for 10 mins before dividing and putting in oven !
Once golden brown take out and cool for 10 mins before serving,
To be stored in air tight container, last up-to 4 days.
to reheat place in medium heat dry frying pan and warm both sides or slice down the middle and place in air fryer for 2 mins on high.
