First-off, a quick word in memory of those killed in Shoreham during the devastating airshow crash yesterday. This event was an unqualified tragedy, and my condolences go out to all those affected, and I wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
Seen steaming along the Teignmouth Sea Wall at Sprey Point is preserved British Railways Standard Class 7, 70000 'Britannia', operating the 1Z27 'Torbay Express' from Bristol Temple Meads to Kingswear.
The train is then seen later, again on the Sea Wall, blasting north with the retrun 1Z28 to Bristol Temple Meads, Britannia in good form with whistles and roars for us all!
