Demag KM Motors are found on older model Demag DK chain hoists and drives on overhead cranes from the 1990’s. The KM motor differs from the KB motor since it can direct feed to a gearbox. These motors have a shim pack to complete the brake adjustment. Watch our video with Demag Technical Trainer, Andy Rasch, as he takes you through the brake adjustment on a KM motor.
