PT. Kereta Api Indonesia managed to become one of the favorite transportation in Indonesia. This change began since PT.KAI was led by Ignasius Jonan and is now forwarded by Edi Sukmoro. Tickets can be booked online up to 90 days before the day of departure.
Argo Dwipangga is one of executive trains where it serves Gambir (Jakarta) - Solo Balapan (Solo City) route vice versa. Along the way, Argo Dwipangga passes two tunnel relics built during the Dutch colonial era, the Ijo tunnel (built 1885-1886, 850 meters) at Kebumen and the Notog tunnel (built 1915, 260 meters) at Notog, Banyumas. I suggest to take morning train for those who want to go to Yogyakarta or Solo City with train because you can enjoy beautiful scenery outside especially at Central Java.
Actually, during this trip my seat number is 10A in Executive 1. However, before departure there is a man who request me to change seat for his wife (his wife is in seat number 10 D, Executive 3). So, make sure again if you want to reserved your seat during online booking.
