Gapura Bajang Ratu or also known as Candi Bajang Ratu is a gate / temple from the Majapahit heritage located in Temon Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Indonesia.
This building is estimated to have been built in the 14th century and was one of the large gates in the Majapahit golden age. According to the records of the Mojokerto Archaeological Heritage Agency, this temple / gate serves as the entrance for the sacred building to commemorate the death of King Jayanegara who in Negarakertagama is called "back to the world of Wisnu" in 1250 Saka (around 1328 AD). But actually before the death of Jayanegara this temple was used as the back door of the kingdom. This assumption is supported by the relief of "Sri Tanjung" and a gate wing which symbolizes deliverance and until now in the Trowulan area it has become a culture when mourning the dead, you are required to go through the back door.
