Thanks for checking out PowerNation as we continue our Fall Marathon of all new episodes of practical how-to tech you can use at home. All 4 shows are new! Plus this week Courtney features a drop dead gorgeous 1956 Chevy Bel Air.
Owner Ronnie Street spent 11 years restoring it with a Chevy 350 bored 30 over with Vortec heads, a Comp cam, Edlebrock intake and a 750 Holley carb. G and R Body Shop in Kevil, Kentucky sprayed it “Caddy Red” with Nissan “White Pearl” and it rolls on seventeen inch Cragars and Goodyear Eagles. But it’s inside where this baby really shines as custom interior expert Kaz Williams did more of his magic with the three-tone upholstery in Red, White and Camel.
It looks like leather but it’s not, and the brilliant “Grenadine Red” carpet is a striking. He used AutoMeter gauges and a custom cut down ’59 Chevy Impala steering wheel. Also this week we’ll meet the newest member of our Engine Power team Pat Topolinski. Pat helped KB Racing with 3 NHRA World Championships.
It’s a full PowerNation so make sure you tune in!
