“Bombay duck”or “Lote mach’,commonly known as “Bombill" is a fleshy fish majorly found in sea. In Bengal it is known as ‘lote mach’ or ‘loitta mach’. Loitta mach is full with various nutrient values.It is very good for heart patients, pregnant women and anybody having eye problems.It is an inexpensive, fleshy, soft, sea-water fish which is primarily salty in taste.”Loitta macher jhuri” is a spicy, dry preparation which goes well with rice and roti both.This recipe mainly belongs to the Bangladeshi kitchens mostly referred as bangle barrier ranna. It takes some time to prepare but I bet you can’t leave the table without finishing it entirely.
