Senator Ted Cruz returned to Houston Thursday afternoon after cutting short a vacation trip to Cancun. The senator returned amid a torrent of criticism over his decision to go on vacation with his daughters while hundreds of thousands of Texas struggle to survive bitter artic weather without heat, poser or adequate water.
