LG엔솔, 도요타에 전기차 배터리 공급 年 30조원 규모 추정
LG Energy Solution has struck a deal to supply Toyota Motor with 22 billion U.S. dollars of lithium-ion batteries a year.
The Korean battery supplier on Thursday announced.that the agreement provides the Japanese automaker with 20 gigawatt-hours of high-nickel NCMA.pouch-type battery cells. and modules.
That's is enough to produce more than 2-hundred-50-thousand electric vehicles a year.
The contract is LG Energy Solution's largest single-supply agreement excluding venture agreements.
LG Energy Solution plans to invest 3 billion U.S. dollars in its Michigan battery plant facility to produce these batteries.
