I had an idea about where the story of season of the splicer was heading, and decided it would be fun to edit together a sort of case file documentary. In this video I give an overview of the story in season of the splicer, and share my thoughts on it. I don't think it's very hard to guess what's gonna happen, but I think the potential this season is really good. We hardly get really immersed in Destiny's stories unless it's highly detailed story mission. This time however, we've seen characters meet and talk in game, engaged in a 6-player activity, and done unique missions that are all tied together by the plot. If what I think is going to happen actually occurs, and we get to play it ourselves, I think Bungie would have done a very good job. Am I potentially exaggerating saying this could be one of Destiny's best pieces of storytelling? Yeah. Should this season be an expected standard for in-game storytelling? Yeah. Did I enjoy making this video? Also yeah. Maybe I'll make more for other parts of Destiny like the next season or my own personal thoughts on Bungie's storytelling. Honestly, I'm a tad bit nervous to put this out, but if it's well received I'll keep it up.
