Even though I have had the opportunity to visit this city several times, each time I manage to be enchanted by the beauty of the Carolina citadel. It is a true work of art, well strategically placed, was built in the early 18th century, and is the largest star-type fortress in Eastern Europe. One of the most important tourist routes in the Citadel, the Route of the Three Fortifications, offers you the chance to travel in one day through the history of two millennia from three different eras, being able to observe the 3 fortifications that have existed here over time.
