You should avoid paying interest on your credit card balance. If your credit card offers 0% intro APR, you must make minimum payments monthly for the initial offering period of 6, 12, or 18 months. If you miss payment once, you must pay the whole balance immediately. After the initial period, you must pay the statement balance anyway. Paying the statement balance should save you from paying more than you owe. However, if you haven’t paid your statement in full once, you must pay the whole balance the next time. You should pay the statement balance before the due date to avoid interest.
