The 33rd model railway exhibition by the Mid Essex Model Railway Club on the 18th Sept 2010 at Shenfield High School.
Exhibiter number 4 is "Warren Lane" by Alan Bevan & Maggie Clark in OO guage.
After helping Mick Lawrence with his layouts the modeling bug took hold.
Today we present Warren Lane - a work in progress.
The layout portrays a fictitious Freightliner terminal set somewhere in East Anglia, around 2004.
It is based on various prototypes (Tilbury, Southampton & Felixstowe) & features working cranes, overhead catenary & lots of containers.
It forms part of a larger project with Mick Lawrence & his Shillingbury MPD.
