The BES ‘Capturing Ecology: Hidden Worlds’ exhibition launched for a busy six weeks at Ulster Museum, Belfast, in partnership with National Museums Northern Ireland.

The wonderfully interactive exhibition combined wildlife photography, digital displays, and interactive installations to reveal the ingenious methods used by ecologists to understand the natural world.

The curated content centred around the research of BES members working in diverse fields of ecology, and helped share the importance of their science in tackling global environmental challenges, in addition to sharing the beauty of many unknown aspects of the natural world.
