RTÉ News reports on the death of Irish rugby legend Tom Kiernan. The Corkman was Ireland's most capped player at the time of his retirement in 1973, with 54 caps for his country in total, 24 as captain. Kiernan is also well remembered for being Munster's head coach when The Red Army famously defeated New Zealand 12-0 at Limerick's Thomond Park on 31st October 1978. He also coached Ireland between 1980 and 1983, guiding The Shamrocks to Triple Crown victory in 1982.
