Opposition leaders organises mega rally titled ‘Remove Dictatorship, Save Country’ at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar!
New Delhi: In yet another show of opposition unity ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, leaders of Opposition parties once got together for a mega rally to send a strong message to the ruling BJP-led dispensation. The rally ‘Tanashahi Hatao, Desh Bachao was organised by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party at Jantar Mantar in the national capital.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Loktantrik Janata Dal leader Sharad Yadav, SP's Ram Gopal Yadav and RLD's Trilok Tyagi,
Sitram Yechury, D Raja,Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, Former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah, Shatrughan Sinha Participated in the Rally.
AAP also invited Rahul Gandhi to attend its mega "Tanashahi Hatao, Loktantra Bachao" rally in the national capital on Wednesday but Congress President gave a Miss to corner the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
Addressing the Mega Rally, Delhi Chief Minister Arvinder Kejriwal said, "I want to tell the whole country, this time, when you go to vote, vote for an educated prime minister. I want to tell Modi to stop behaving like Pakistan's PM. By breaking the country, Modi is fulfilling Pakistan's dream. Are you the PM of India or the PM of Pakistan."
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said," "In the coming days, we will all fight united. Any fight we have with the Congress and the CPM will be limited to the state. At the national level, we will all fight together. Let them fight against me, I don't mind. For the interest of the nation, I'm ready to sacrifice my life and party.
AAP will win all the seven seats in Delhi. We want to create a united India. We want to save the country from Amit Shah and Modi. They want to break the country, we want to bring it together. Today is the last day of Parliament. The expiry date of Modi government is over."
Andhra Pradesh CM & TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi, said, "We are in danger, we have to protect this nation, democracy is under threat. If all of us are not united, this is the last election for all of us, tomorrow there won't be any election. Arvind Kejriwal is the first man who reaches out to us when we are harassed by the Centre. Kejriwal always protects us, we must support him and save democracy."
CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury said that BJP is professing politics of 'Dushashan' by pitting brothers against brothers.
"There is need to replace this government for a better India. This chowkidar needs to be removed to save the country.BJP is like Kaurava Sena but the Pandavas (Opposition) will defeat them and save the country," he said.
Actor turned politician, Shatrugan Sinha Addressing the Mega Rally said, "My younger brother, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is a very strong leader. I extend my full support to the alliance between Mamata Banerjee and N Chandrababu Naidu. We have to save the country, we have to save the Constitution."
Former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah, said,
"Remember the sacrifice of blood made in Jallianwala Bagh. That blood cannot be divided on the basis of religion. India belongs to neither the Hindus nor the Muslims, it belongs to all 'Hindustanis."
Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, "All of the country's Opposition parties have come together to oust Modi from Delhi so that India can be saved. "Removing Narendra Modi and Amit Shah is necessary to save the institutions of the country."
Loktantrik Janata Dal leader Sharad Yadav, said, "BJP made elections very exorbitant, that if Lal Bahadur Shastri and Jay Prakash Narayan will contest elections they won't be successful. Time has come to show them the doors. India needs to be saved."
SP's Ram Gopal Yadav said, "Constitution is under attack under Narendra Modi as prime minister and asserted that Parliament has been undermined and bypassed and its role has been minimised under Modi."
