this video is our 2nd day in England, part of weekend away from Amsterdam. We visited Mayfield Lavander Flower Farm in Banstead United Kingdom. Its in the South of London, few minutes drive. It also called the Purple Paradise of South London. Beautiful and fragrant site where they sell local delicacies and producta made out of lavander. In London, we stayed at the luxurious Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, located near Picadilly, close to the Parliament, Buckingham Palace and Hayde Park. We had a wonderful English breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, we went to the Parliament. Big Ben was still under renovation. We attempted to take a ride at Coca Cola London Eye but the que was very long so we decided to skip. Instead, we visited the British Museum given that we had a limited before our flight back to Amsterdam at London Gatwick Airport. The museum has a huge collection of arts, artifacts of different civilizations from far places like Egypt, Persia (Syria), Babylonia and more. The showcase was impressive. We had a chance to see the famous Rosetta stone. It is a granodiorite stone discovered in 1799 which is inscribed with three versions of a decree issued at Memphis, Egypt in 196 BC during the Ptolematic dynasty.
